President Barack Obama took to the stage and sang at the Cincinnati Music Hall Monday afternoon while on a campaign stop in Ohio.

But he didn't sing a tune from Al Green, although there were requests. He sang a song for Adam, who was spending his 18th birthday at the president's campaign event.

It was one of several lighter moments during this stop that the room full of supporters enjoyed, like when Julie the Girl Scout asked the president to name his favorite cookie.

"I like the thin," he said-referring to Thin Mints. Some laughed; some booed halfheartedly.

Then Tony Smith, a barber, asked when he could cut the president's hair.

"You would not want a president who is disloyal to his barber," the president replied, prompting laughs from the crowd.

But the audience was silent when 13-year-old Taylor asked if her father was going to find a job before his unemployment ran out.

"My hope is that we can put him to work" Obama said.

The president told the crowd of supporters he wanted to spend time answering questions and taking comments, then added: "But I do want to say a few things about what's at stake here."

With chants of "four more years" coming from the floor, Obama said this election is more than a race between two candidates. It's about two different visions about how we build a strong economy."

"And the good news is you're the tiebreaker," he emphasized.

He attacked Republican challenger Mitt Romney and Republicans in Congress for cobbling together an economic plan that he said was tried before but failed. He went on to say that Romney's plan will in fact create jobs, but not jobs in America.

"Now this shouldn't be a surprise," Obama said. "Because Governor Romney's experience has been investing in what were called 'pioneers' of the business of outsourcing."

The crowd cheered when Obama said his theory was different.

"I want to give tax breaks to companies right here in Ohio that are investing in Cincinnati, that are investing in Hamilton County. I want to give incentives to companies that are investing in you, the American people, to create American jobs making American goods that we're selling around the world, stamped with three proud words: Made in America."

The president did not make any mention of Romney's tax returns but went on to say that Romney has different views on all of Obama's policies and if Romney is elected he will implement all of the plans that he and the Republicans are putting forward.

Obama promised that if he is re-elected, he will keep the country moving forward.

Leaving the stage, Obama said he will return to Ohio prior to Election Day.

Romney in the meantime is scheduled to make an Ohio stop on Wednesday.
