(CNN) -- New Jersey, New York, West Virginia and Connecticut "are really bearing the brunt of this incredible storm," President Barack Obama told reporters Wednesday after touring damage left by Sandy in New Jersey. Power companies from as far away as California have pledged to send equipment crews, he said.
