Farron Salley joined the KTXS News team as a weekend reporter. A native of Fort Worth, she joined KTXS as a reporter in February 2012.

Farron is completing her studies at Abilene Christian University where she plans to graduate in May 2012 with a degree in broadcast journalism.

Farron previously worked as a morning announcer at 89.7 FM Abilene Public Radio and as a multimedia intern in Washington, D.C., at The Daily Caller.

As the collegiate multimedia managing editor at ACU’s Optimist, she produced and anchored a weekly campus newscast. Farron also hosted and produced the arts and culture television show 99 West that airs on KUF-TV.

She cheers for her favorite NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys, but political coverage is her favorite news to watch.
