Trace Headrick is the evening producer at KTXS News. He started working for the station in May 2014.

Trace graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. While in college, he interned for FOX 32 Chicago and WGN Sports. Interning for FOX, he helped produce the 9 o’clock news, wrote stories and attended Chicago Bears games where he would interview their players for Bears Post-Game Live.

While at WGN Trace was an assistant producer for the Chicago Cubs, Sox, Bulls and Blackhawk games. He also was responsible for obtaining the coaches interview and player of the game.

In his free time, you can find Trace on the baseball field, enjoying his favorite Chicago teams, at the gym, or going to the movies.
