Kristen L. Pope is education and weekend reporter at KTXS.

She comes to Abilene from New York City where she reported for several broadcast TV stations and online media outlets.

Prior to moving to NYC, Kristen studies Broadcast Journalism at the Scripps-Howard School of Journalism and Communications at Hampton University in Hampton, Virgina. She graduated with her Bachelors of Arts.

Kristen is passionate about social issues and sharing others stories. Originally from the midwest, Kristen's thrilled about reporting in Abilene! In her spare time, Kristen loves to travel, sing and serve her community.
