Maggie Gaskill is the senior producer at KTXS.

She is a big city girl who is now in love with the countryside of west Texas. Originally from New Hampshire, Maggie lived in Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and Tennessee before moving to the great state of Texas.

Maggie gained her love for news while working for her high school TV station, KGLE, at Allen High School in the DFW metroplex. She then went on to spend the best four years of her life at the University of Missouri in the Missouri School of Journalism. MIZ! In college, she reported and produced for the Mizzou-owned NBC affiliate, KOMU.

She moved to Abilene right out of college in May 2011 to work as the 6/10 producer. For the past 3 years, Maggie has had her hands on every news show produced at KTXS. Other than being senior producer, Maggie also produces the 5 p.m. news

While living in Abilene, Maggie met her husband, Dustin who is from Merkel. They were married in April 2014. Dustin is now part of the oil boom in west Texas. The couple has a basset mix named Anni.

When she’s not at work, you can find Maggie at the dog park with Anni or planning trips to take with her husband on his days off.
