Wayne McCormick

Wayne has been the 6/10 anchor since 1992. For 12 years he also hosted the weekly KTXS Academic Challenge show that featured high school academic teams.

Braid Blanks, was born and raised in Abilene with close ties all around the Big Country. Braid began her television career as a producer at KTXS in 2002 and became a reporter before she left briefly to join KLTV in Tyler as a weekend anchor.

George Levesque

George Levesque has lived his entire life right here in the Big Country. He was born in Colorado City in 1972 and lived there until high school graduation in 1990.

Mari Cockerell

Mari Cockerell is happy to be back in the Big Country anchoring KTXS This Morning. She first came to Abilene in 2003, serving as KTXS 6 and 10 p.m. co-anchor (then Mari Hayes).

Michelle Frizalone

Michelle Frizalone enjoys anchoring and reporting in Abilene, Texas, where the sun always shines.

Mark Rowlett

Mark was born and raised in Corpus Christi, where hurricanes made a big impression on him – especially Hurricane Celia in 1970. "I wanted to learn how nature takes sunshine, air and water and creates lightning and 150-plus mph winds," he says. Mark Rowlett returned to Texas in August 2009 to join KTXS as chief meteorologist.

Julie Phillips

Julie Phillips is the morning meteorologist at KTXS News. She is a Chicagoland native who joined the KTXS weather team in July of 2010.

Chelsea Humphrey

Chelsea Humphrey is the weekend meteorologist at KTXS News.

Ariana Garza

Ariana Garza is the crime reporter at KTXS News. Ariana is an Abilene native and is excited to continue her broadcasting career in the Big Country.

Jennifer Kendall

Jennifer has been a reporter at KTXS since June 2012. A born and raised Jersey girl, she earned her B.A. from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
