Production Assistant – OPEN The KTXS Production Department is currently taking applications for a Production Assistant. The position is on our night-side production crew. Night time production works on a rotating schedule 6 days a week and weekends. Those interested have the opportunity to be a part of the KTXS Production department, working on live newscasts. We offer the opportunity for advanced learning of the inner workings of studio production. We also teach live field production with several major events a year. Those interested will receive hands-on training of teleprompter, studio cameras, audio, tape & graphics operations and work close with our award-winning news team. Requirements: You must work very well with a team, must be a quick learner, must be able to comfortably lift 20 – 50 pounds, and must have means of contact (i.e. cell phone) and reliable mode of transportation.
