Joshua Peguero is the Brownwood bureau reporter at KTXS News. He joined the KTXS news team in November 2015.
Joshua Peguero is happy to call Texas home. He came to the Lone Star State after spending almost two years as a morning producer at KFSM-TV in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Joshua was born and raised in Manhattan, New York. He graduated from Columbia’s Journalism School, but also attended the City College of New York. While in the Big Apple, he worked several odd jobs before interning at two television stations and spending two years working as an intern at Reuters.
Before moving to Arkansas, he worked with PBS NewsHour in Washington D.C. as a desk assistant. There he helped cover the government shutdown; the NSA surveillance leaks; and the start of the civil war in Syria.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling, reading, exercising, listening to music, volunteering, and talking to friends and family. You’ll also always spot him wearing a Yankee hat.
