The Development Corporation of Abilene is looking to spend $20,000 to expand operations at a Pactiv, a manufacturing company located at 5 Points Business Park in Abilene.

Economic leaders said the money will pay for architectural work.

The company employs 105 people but this move isn't going to bring any new jobs to the area.

Pactiv is a manufacturing and food service company that makes food packaging.
