Members of the Houston Grand Opera Studio sang pieces from famous operas amd several music theatre selections, Tuesday night at an event called Catch a Rising Star.

This was the 4th year for the event that serves as a benefit for Young Audiences of Abilene.

YAA has been providing performances to schools in Abilene and the surrounding area for the past 19 years.

There was no admission fee for the event.
