'Rattlesnake Roundup' brings a snake to KTXS

ABILENE, Texas -

Riley Sawyers from the Sweetwater Rattlesnake Roundup visited KTXS Thursday morning and brought along a box of rattlesnakes.

There were about a dozen snakes in the box, but only one appeared live on KTXS This Morning.

The Rattlesnake Roundup begins Thursday, March 7 with a parade lead by Miss Texas.

The Miss Snake Charmer Pageant is Thursday evening.

Rattlesnake Roundup runs through March 10.
