An unidentified gunman opened fire in a North Texas Chinese food restaurant, killing one person and wounding another.
The incident happened about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Hunan Wok restaurant in the Fort Worth suburb of North Richland Hills.
Police Investigator Keith Bauman said the shooting did not appear to be a random act of violence but offered no motive for the deed. He said the wounded man was hospitalized in stable condition.
About four hours later, investigators were probing for any connection between the shooting and a car found burning near Lake Benbrook, about 20 miles southwest of the restaurant. Bauman said the car was impounded and its occupant airlifted to a hospital in undetermined condition.
