ABILENE, Texas -

Ten aspiring young entrepreneurs were recognized on the campus of Abilene Christian University earlier this evening at the Springboard Ideas Challenge.

The ten are from area colleges and communities and presented their competing exhibits displaying their business concepts.

On hand to speak about the importance of combining entrepreneurship with philanthropy was the Chairman of NuStar Energy Bill Greehey.

"I think it's important to give back to the community and make it better and don't just take from it. The more you give the more you get back and everyone needs to learn to be a good corporate citizen," Greehey said.

Greehey says his most recent philanthropic project was opening a homeless shelter in San Antonio.
