The 10th anniversary of the kidnapping of baby Nancy who was abducted from an Abilene Walmart is on Monday.

In 2002, Nancy Chavez was taken from her mother's van in a parking lot. Nancy was only 3-months-old at the time.

A tip led to her recovery in Quanah the next day and officers returned the infant to her parents.

Paula Lynn Roach a former prison guard pleaded guilty to aggravated kidnapping.
Roach was charged and sentenced to ten years in prison.
