Two Injured In Car-Train Crash
Accident Happened on Highway 183 in Cisco
POSTED: 9:19 pm CDT September 1, 2010UPDATED: 3:57 pm CDT September 2, 2010CISCO, Texas -- A woman and child were injured Wednesday afternoon when a train collided with their vehicle just north of Cisco.According to witnesses, the driver of an SUV was driving over the tracks when the crossing arms came down on it.The driver was unable to move the vehicle before it was hit by the train...causing it to roll several times.Authorities say a 5-year-old female passenger in the vehicle was cut up pretty badly and care flighted to an Abilene hospital. A woman in her 40s was also injured.The details of the crash are still being investigated.
