BROWNWOOD, Texas -- Howard Payne University will host a touching tribute to firefighters, and fallen firefighter Greg Simmons in particular, on Friday.HPU will host a memorial concert at 11:15 am Friday at Mims Auditorium.Musicians will honor fallen firefighter Greg Simmons, who died April 15 while fighting a fire in Eastland County, along with other firefighters.Simmons' daughter Karley, a senior at Eastland High School, who's been participating in HPU's band camp, is among the musicians.
