Two Anson parents spent some time behind bars after allegedly breaking several bones of their twins.

Daniel Wright and Candra Applegate were arrested on Jan. 12 for injury to a child.

Anson police said they were contacted by Child Protective Services on July 7 because the two 9-month-old children were being treated in an Abilene Hospital.

Medical records showed that between the twins, they had 15 broken bones.

CPS immediately removed the children from the parents' home, while they conducted an investigation.

Anson Police Chief David Moore said the twins are in foster care in Lubbock.

Wright and Applegate have since bonded out of jail.
