BROWNWOOD, Texas -- A Brownwood man has been indicted for sexual assault of a child.Authorities arrested Karl Smith and charged him with aggravated sexual assault of a child, which is a first-degree felony.The district attorney's office said Smith was a relative of the victim.The alleged incident happened back in 2007.No trial date has been set; meanwhile, Smith is currently being held at the Brown County Jail.
