ABILENE, Texas -

ACU head softball coach Bobby Reeves said Thursday that his team's weekend Lone Star Conference series against Texas Woman's has been moved because of the possibility of poor weather conditions on Friday and Saturday.

Instead of playing through the rain and cold on those two days, the Wildcats and Pioneers will instead play their key LSC series on Sunday and Monday. Sunday's doubleheader will get started at 4 p.m. with the second game to follow around 6 p.m. The series will wrap up Monday with a single game at 1 p.m.

The Wildcats enter the series at 14-3 overall and 2-1 in the LSC after winning an LSC series from Incarnate Word last weekend in San Antonio. ACU is ranked No. 19 in the country in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches' Association (NFCA) rankings.

Texas Woman's enters the series against ACU at 17-4 overall and tied with Angelo State and Tarleton State atop the LSC standings at 3-0.
