Deputy Fire Chief Jim Frazier is retiring from The Abilene Fire Department after 33 years.
Thursday, the department held a retirement ceremony honoring Frazier for his 33 years of service to the fire department.
For the past 12 years Frazier has been the deputy chief, and says his first week as a battalion chief was a wild one.
