A man with over $7,000 in outstanding warrants was arrested Monday in Abilene.

Police were called out to a house on Cedar Street regarding an open 9-1-1 line.

Dispatchers could hear a verbal altercation in the background and sent a patrol unit to check.

Police said there were several subjects at this address and that one of them had been involved in a verbal altercation.

After doing a records check, one of the men, Eric Hernandez, was found to have 13 outstanding municipal warrants totaling $7,182.60.

Hernandez was arrested on those outstanding warrants.
