An Abilene man is charged with aggravated assault after police said he tried to stab his tenant over missing kittens.
According to police, 50-year-old Raul Galvan's tenant called him to report Galvan's friend had lost Galvan's kittens.
Police said Galvan came over and tried to stab his tenant but missed. They said they later found Galvan at his home and he admitted to having a knife and wanting to fight his tenant. According to police, Galvan said he brought a knife to the fight because the tenant has a military background.
According to police, Galvan accused the tenant of stealing his kittens.
Galvan is charged with second degree felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
