Abilene Regional's 'Healthy Woman' program celebrates 5 years

ABILENE, Texas -

The "Healthy Woman" program at Abilene Regional Medical Center celebrates its 5th anniversary this month.

Healthy Woman will celebrate with a party and special guest speaker on Thursday, April 18.

A preview party will run from 6-7 p.m. at the Grace Museum. Another event featuring guest speaker Dale Smith Thomas will run from 7:30 - 9 p.m. at the Paramount Theatre. Iced Coffee, Wylie ISD's Destination Imagination program, will also perform at the Theatre.

Thomas is a motivational speaker who shares tips for success in her "Real Women, Real Life: Keys to Becoming Your Personal Best" presentation. Thomas has appeared on "The Dr. Phil Show," "CNBC's The Big Idea," and on MTV.

Iced Coffee will perform their state qualifying, nonverbal story about the special relationship between a mother and daughter who share breast cancer genes.
