ABILENE, Texas -

Throughout the entire month of June the Abilene Women's Club will be honoring all veterans with patriotic events of all kinds.

Every weekend will feature a different talented artist to entertain guests.

Members of the Women's Club are encouraged to invite to join in each activity and bring along with them a veteran to enjoy the honorary services.

Friday, June 15, soloist Kate Burk Alvaraz and pianist Elaine Kirkpatrick will perform patriotic songs together.

The events continue for the remaining weekends in June and include Jeff Goodin in "My Experiences in Vietnam" (June 22), and Jerry and Ann Johnson in "Celebrating July 4th: Living History" (June 29.)

Each of these programs is open to the public and all Veterans that are interested in attending.

For more information, you can contact the Abilene Women's Club at 325-698-1768.
