Abilene man free on bail after allegedly robbing convenience store

An Abilene man is free on bail after being arrested for allegedly robbing a convenience store in the 1000 block of East Highway 80 early Thursday morning.
Aaron Rimes, 19, is charged with second-degree felony robbery. According to the store clerk, Rimes entered the store just before 2 a.m. Thursday and went straight to the cash register. He also told the clerk he had a gun. The investigation is ongoing.
