An Abilene man received a long prison sentence on a drug charge.
Nicholas Albarado, 27, pleaded guilty in July to possessing 50 grams or more of meth, with intent to distribute. He also plead guilty to having a gun while dealing drugs.
Wednesday, a U.S. district judge sentenced him to 18 years in federal prison.
Albarado was arrested when police raided a suspected drug house on Locust Street in August of last year.
