An Abilene man accused of sexually assaulting a child, who authorities said he got drunk, was sentenced to prison Friday.
Alexander Rubio, 24, allegedly got the 15-year-old girl drunk, dragged her into a bedroom and had sex with her during November 2009.
The victim, now 18, testified against him Friday.
Charged with second-degree felony sexual assault of a child, Rubio faced two to 20 years in prison. A judge sentenced him to 16 years. He will be eligible for parole after serving half of the time.
