Abilene man threatens robbery, gets nothing

An Abilene man walked into a convenience store, yelled out he was going to rob the place, but got away with nothing.

Lee Leija was arrested and charged with robbery of the Allsup's on North 10th and Willis.

Police said he went into the store, started yelling, kicked over some stands, and knocked over the cash register, then left the store empty handed.

Police caught up with Leija at a house on Briarwood .
