Abilene police have made a second arrest in connection to a death at the State Supported Living Center in 2009.

Janice Sullivan, 53, was taken into custody Thursday and is charged with with criminally negligent homicide.

She and another nurse, Deborah Ann Gant allegedly did not call for help when a patient had medical difficulties. Gant, 58, was arrested in May.

A spokeswoman with the state told KTXS Monday that Sullivan worked at the State Supported Living Center from 2008 to 2010. She chose to resign instead of being terminated.
