Sales tax numbers are leveling out for Abilene, but Brownwood is benefiting from a nice bump right now.

Sales tax revenue went up by just .35 percent for Abilene. That's compared to this same time last year.

But in Brownwood, that number went up by 7 percent.

Revenue received in September reflects the amount of money spent and sales tax collected during the month of July.
