Abilene university students taking a stand against slavery

University students in Abilene are taking a four-day stand against slavery.
Students at Abilene Christian and Hardin-Simmons University are volunteering to stand for a total of 27 hours over a four-day period in honor of the 27 million people who are enslaved worldwide.
Students will also be signing a petition that will be sent to President Barack Obama.
Stand for Freedom organizers hope to raise $2,700 for the International Justice Mission.
The event will take place at the ACU Campus Center from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. March 4 and 5. The event will be held at the HSU Pond at the listed times on March 6 and 7.
