An American Airlines passenger jet made an emergency landing late this morning at Abilene Regional Airport.
The plane landed safely. It was coming from Dallas to Abilene, with 36 people on board.
The pilot made the emergency call after noticing mechanical problems with the planes pitch trim. Fire crews were called out to the airport.
