Benefit dance to honor ACU crash victim

ABILENE, Texas -

A fundraiser will be held Saturday night to honor Abilene Christian University crash victim Lindsey Smith. 

20-year-old Lindsey Smith died in a crash last month.

She was in a pickup truck with five other ACU students when, DPS said, another driver, Jeffrey Davis ran through a stop sign and hit them.

He was also killed in the crash.

The Red Boot Roundup dance is at ACU in the Bennett Gymnasium from 8-10:30 p.m.

Donations will be accepted at the door.
