An Abilene man charged with an accident with injury in connection to a hit-and-run accident had his bond reduced Friday.

In May 2011, a Taylor County grand jury indicted 26-year-old Andy Rolin, believing there was enough evidence to show that the car Rolin was driving in June 2010 hit another Abilene man.

Police said Micheal Word was left in the road with several broken bones after Rolin's car hit him.

Friday, a judge reduced Rolin's bond from $20,000 to $5,000.
