BRADY, Texas -

Brady ISD is on the verge of hiring their next head football coach. Superintendent Ann Moore tells KTXS Sports, Brownwood Defensive Coordinator, and head baseball coach, Andy Howard is the lone finalist for the job.

the Brady School Board will meet on Monday, June 18th, to decide whether to confirm Howard as their next head coach. That meeting is scheduled for 6pm.

Howard is a graduate of Howard Payne University, where he played football for the Yellow Jackets.

Brownwood finished last year 8-5, and allowed 23.9 ppg.

If Howard does become the new head coach, he takes over for Glen Jones, who left after 6 years. Jones led the Brady Bulldogs to a 38-30 record as head coach.
