A study just released is revealing how few new moms are able to meet their breastfeeding goals.
The numbers will be released in July's issue of Pediatrics. Out of the 85% of new moms who say they intend to breastfeed 3 months or longer, just 32.4% met their mark.
Out of those who quit, 42% stop within the first month, and 15% stop before they even leave the hospital.
