Brown County lake patrolman honored

BROWNWOOD, Texas -

A lake patrolman in Brown County was honored today.

The Brown County Water Improvement District #1-Lake Patrol dedicated the Lake Patrol building to Jim Whiteley on Monday.

Whiteley was the Senior Lake Patrolman for more than 26 years.

Many gathered to congratulate Whitley and thank him for his years of service.

Whiteley drew the architectural plans in 1984 for the building that was dedicated to him.
