Brownwood attorney 48-year-old Bill Ruth was indicted on March 1 on an aggravated perjury charge.
In January, Ruth was indicted on a charge known as barratry.
Barratry means creating legal business by stirring up disputes for the purpose of monetary gain.
The perjury charge is in connection with the same civil lawsuit that led to the barratry charge.
Ruth turned himself in to the Brown County Jail Tuesday. He was booked and released on $10,000 bond.
