A few homes on Old Anson Rd. were without power for a short time Saturday evening after a car accident in the area.
Abilene police and officials were called out to 2767 Old Anson just before 7:30 p.m.
Firefighters said the female driver experienced diabetic complications when she ran into a power pole.
The driver was transported to Hendrick with minor injuries.
