A woman bitten by a rattlesnake on her property in April has improved.
A spokesperson for Hendrick Medical Center says Amy Nichols is now in fair condition. Her condition had been critical ever since she was first bitten.
Nichols was walking on her rural property near off of Old Coleman highway near Potosi when she was bitten on the leg. The intense pain forced her to crawl back to her house.
It was more than an hour before she was able to call for help.
