Cyclists traveling from Long Beach, California to Washington D.C. made a stop in Abilene on Wednesday.

They're riding to raise money and awareness of disabilities.

About 30 riders from "Push America: Journey for Hope" are taking the 60 day trip.

The group says they average about 75 miles on each stretch of their ride across the country.

So far the group has raised about $700-thousand dollars for their cause.

They will make their way east to Stephenville Thursday.
