POSSUM KINGDOM LAKE, Texas -

A spokesperson for the Brazos River Authority says the body of missing high school student, 17-year-old Jacob Logan, has been found in Possum Kingdom Lake.

The body was found at 9:21 p.m. Thursday night.

The spokesperson says the Justice of the Peace has made a positive identification of the body, and Logan's next of kin have been notified.

Logan's body will be transported to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Logan was a stand out football star for Coppell High School, in a suburb of Dallas.

Witnesses said Logan was cliff diving at Possum Kingdom Lake with fellow teammates Sunday afternoon when he didn't resurface.

A search involving several agencies, dive teams and sonar equipment had been on-going since he disappeared.

The spot where Logan disappeared has a depth of 70 feet, and extremely low visibility.
