Halfway through early voting for the July 31 runoff election and turnout in Taylor County is still high.

Election officials said 1,204 people voted Wednesday alone, pushing the total of almost 4,000 early votes this week.

Brown County has also seen a big turnout. They said they have had 300 early voters Wednesday for a total of 866 this week.
