Ex-Dyess airman placed on probation for July 2011 shooting
A former Dyess Air Force Base airman pleaded guilty Monday to a July 2011 shooting that injured two other airmen.
Frankie Brown, 23, was arrested in July 2011 for shooting the airmen during a fight at the formerly named Pine Meadows Apartment Community complex on Nonesuch Road.
The victims faced non-life threatening injuries.
Brown was indicted on one count of aggravated assault and pleaded guilty Monday. He was sentenced to two years deferred adjudication. If he does not violate his probation for two years, his record will be cleared of the offense.
Brown also has to do 320 hours of community service and pay a $500 fine along with court costs.
