A former Panther Creek Independent School District employee got 10 years probation for stealing more than $200,000 from the district.

Last November, Lori Sparks was arrested by the Coleman County Sheriff's Office on charges that she took the money.

Last week, Sparks plead guilty to charges of theft and now will spend the next 10 years on probation.

Sparks paid more than $270,000 in restitution.
