A new era begins on Thursday at the AISD's newest school, Martinez Elementary.

From 8 a.m. to noon, the new campus will hold its first ever kindergarten registration.

There are a few requirements:

Your child must be five years old before September 1, to register.

Make sure to have the child's birth certificate, Social Security card, immunization record and records from any previous schools.

Parents or guardians should also have their ID cards and a utility bill to prove residency.
