The number of flu cases have increased in Taylor County.
The emergency room is at full capacity at Hendrick Medical Center.
Hendrick said they have been treating 20-30 people a day for the flu over the last couple of weeks.
This is a big change, Hendirck officials said, after the last two or three years have been very mild flu seasons.
According to the Abilene-Taylor County Public Health District officials, they have also seen an increase in the number of Flu A and Flu B type cases reported.
There have been 473 Flu A and Flu B cases in Taylor County last year. The previous year there were 107 reported Flu A and Flu B cases.
