If you plan on attending the annual Global Samaritan Resources benefit dinner this year, you'll be in for a treat.The organization announced that former First Lady Laura Bush will be the keynote speaker.

The dinner will be October 9th at the Abilene Civic Center. Mrs. Bush has traveled to more than 76 countries and launched education and healthcare programs for those in need.Those are just some of the reasons Global Samaritan says they are honored to have her at the event.
