Fourth CPS employee placed on leave in connection to Tiffany Klapheke probe
There is another development in the ongoing investigation into how Child Protective Services handled the Tiffany Klapheke case out of Dyess Air Force Base, where a 22-month-old girl died as a result of neglect from her mother.
According to the CPS spokesman for the state, Patrick Crimmins, a fourth CPS employee, Geneva Schroeder was placed on administrative leave Monday.
She is the Wichita Falls-based Program Administrator for the Investigations Program of the region that includes Abilene. Schroeder is the highest-ranking executive in that program, reporting to the regional director.
She along with three CPS supervisors from the Abilene office are all on paid leave pending results of an Abilene Police and state investigation.
